Bill is one of the most knowledgeable and friendly mechanics around. I work on my own vehicles and when there's something that requires tools and time that I don't have, I trust him to get the job done right.

Can’t say enough good things about this shop. Bill is a truely a good human being and a great mechanic. I’m not a local but if I was, this is where I would take my vehicle for service. Stranded in a parking lot with 2 kids in tow, Bill was able to tell me how to manually get my truck started over the phone. Saved my trip home, my sanity and my weekend. 5 stars isn’t enough. So far they haven't worked on any of my vehicles, But they will. I brought my truck to them for a loud noise in my engine compartment. Four other places that I took it to who diagnosed the problem and charged me told me that I needed a new engine.

I brought to Proficiency....came unannounced....the gentleman came outside, listen to the noise and said you have a problem with your timing belt. He asked when I had it replaced and i told him within the past year. Told me to bring it back to whoever did the work cause is should be guaranteed. Didn't charge for the diagnosis...just an honest person, doing the right thing....a HARD to find commodity today.

I WILL be going back to him......And yes that was the problem.
